ZipZap Subscribe & Share

ZipZap’s Subscribe & Share feature: Subscribers earn while the car sits idle

When a car sits idle for an extended stretch, the same service lets the subscriber share it back onto the GetGo platform, turning downtime into an earning opportunity that offsets their subscription bill. Most cars sit unused far more than they’re driven, yet subscribers pay for them every day regardless. Subscribe & Share is the first feature of its kind in Singapore’s car leasing market, designed to close that gap.

How it works

A subscriber creates a vehicle listing anytime on ZipZap’s web app, choosing a window of 3 days to 2 weeks when they won’t need the car. That listing syncs synchronously to GetGo’s platform, making the car available for booking to GetGo’s user base the moment it’s published. Pre and post trip inspections, handovers, and any issues like late returns or damage all run through the same closed loop system, with earnings automatically offset against the subscriber’s next bill.

The experience runs across two interfaces, a subscriber facing app on ZipZap and an operations view on GetGo’s CMS, keeping both sides of the loop in sync in real time.

To launch the feature, the campaign reframed an idle subscription car as value left on the table, prompting subscribers to put it to work.
